“Houthi brutality against activists”… Mayyun condemns the murder of “Al-Mukhal” in a houthis groob detention in Ibb

Mayyun Organization condemns the murder of activist Hamdi Abdel-Razzaq Al-Khawlani, known as “Al-Mukhal” on Monday, March 20, 2023 AD, while he was being illegally detained in a prison under the control of the Houthi group in Ibb Governorate, due to his opinion on his personal accounts on social media platforms.

This heinous crime is clear material evidence of the brutality practiced by the Houthi authorities against political opponents and activists in their areas of control.

Also, this gross violation of the human right to life and his right to express his opinion, to which the victim, “Al-Mukhal”, was subjected, coincides with the issuance of politicized judicial rulings by the Criminal Court under the control of the Houthi group, which imprisoned 4 content makers on the YouTube platform, Ahmed Allaw, for three years, and Mustafa Al-Mumri for a year and a half. And Ahmed Hajar, one year, and Hammoud Al-Misbahi, 6 months, and a fine of ten million riyals, in addition to deleting their channels from the communication platforms.
